Cuteness overload with otters in Morro Bay, CA

MORRO BAY, Calif., March 28 PRNewswire — There’s an abundance of pure unadulterated cuteness going on from the recent increase in California Sea Otter families living in Morro Bay. Mommas and babies are everywhere eating and grooming each other as if no one is watching. But we are and we can’t look away – they are so dang cute! Now is the perfect time to catch a glimpse of these sea creatures in their natural habitat since Morro Bay harbor is experiencing the highest count to date of these adorable critters. A survey taken last May of the Morro Bay harbor documented 36 adult sea otters and nine pups, a significantly higher number than the typical five or fewer otters frequenting the harbor in the early 2000s. Large gatherings of otters throughout the harbor have attracted tourists and locals all along the waterfront to experience them in their natural habitat,” explains Jennifer Little, Executive Director of Discover Morro Bay. You can watch along the shore or rent paddleboards and watch from a safe distance on the water as they forage for food and groom their young. They use rocks and other tools to break open crab and local food sources and are so fun to watch. We’ve seen up to 30 – 40 of them at a time floating around on their backs and enjoying life in Morro Bay. Just plop down a beach chair along the Morro Bay Harbor Walk and start watching – they’re everywhere and easy to find. If there isn’t a family of otters hanging out already, they will soon appear. To get a closer look, paddle out in a kayak or rent a boat at Bay Cruisers and Electric Boats. Visitors can also take a ride on the Lost Isle Tiki boat to see the otters and the ever-barking sea lions, which includes a quick detour to the Morro Bay natural sand spit. Kayaks can be rented at Kayak Horizons and the Kayak Shack.

RUSSELL PETERS IS COMING TO MALAYSIA

This upcoming march,Malaysian will be witnessing a world-renowned stand up comedian Russell Peters throwing all sorts of jokes in Kuala Lumpur.

The indian born in Canada will return to Malaysia for the third time after delivering humour to Malaysian back in 2012 and 2015.

The Comedian is known for his cultural jokes and the fact that his jokes are mostly true. That makes his jokes relevant and funny and the same time.

He had been travelling all around the world such as Dubai,Dublin,London,Amsterdam and etc. for the past few years sharing his different cultural experience to his audience and of course making jokes.

The special thing about Russell Peters and his jokes is his jokes are impromptu. For example,he's asking an audience about a question i.e 'where are you from' and he out of nowhere can make something funny out of it.

He always making contact with the audiences and does not ignore audiences sat in front of him.

With him coming to Malaysia,i think Malaysian are in for a treat for this one because we are hungry for this type of comedy show.

MASDO!

Lately malaysian radio stations, malaysian tv shows, and events has been conquered by an indie band called MASDO!

The band slowly rising to the top to become the next Hujan Band.

The band was recognised after people started to listen to their first ever single called Bunga.

Most of their song melodies sounds like music from P.Ramlee's era.

Now many malaysian is a part of their GengPakMaon (Man) and GengBentaraGuru (Woman) which is the name for their fans.

The name Masdo was inspired by a P.Ramlee's movie DO RE MI and P.Ramlee's character in the movie is Masdo or DO for short.

Masdo is the next big thing for mlaysian music industry from my point of view because their songs is just like nothing i have ever heard of.It is out of this world .

Masdo for me had bring back the indie songs vibe to malaysians and i would say thank you for that.
